Hartmut Rank is currently heading the Rule of Law Programme Latin America, based in Bogotá/Colombia. From 2017-2021, he worked as head of the Rule of Law Programme South East Europe of our Foundation (based in Bucharest/Romania).

 

He has special expertise in European and Public International law, transitional justice, multilateral development politics, the OSCE and alternative dispute resolution. Longstanding regional expertise in Eastern and South-East Europe as well as the post-Soviet space.

 

Working for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung since 2017 in different functions. Prior to this assignment, he has been seconded by the German MFA to the OSCE Mission to Moldova. He has been working for GIZ in Ukraine as well as Attorney both in Germany and Ukraine.
