She has been working in the legal and political field since 1984, and teaches Conflict Resolution and Human Rights, at the Lebanese American University, Beirut. Ms. El Husseini, as an expert on Gender and Development, has translated several books on Gender into Arabic, for the purpose of intercultural accuracy in the translation of concepts involved in development.

In this episode, we will talk about her career in culture and conflict, and her thoughts on what it means to change the narrative of what it means to be a woman in the region.
