Using tools developed by the Circular Cities Asia team, the workshop covered the following topics:

The circular economy and the importance of innovation

Providing support to students in the crucial stage of the Lean Innovation Framework, i.e., Problem Identification

Circular design approaches and brainstorming tools

Examples of how entrepreneurs and students apply circular innovation
Faculty members from Adamson University, Ateneo de Naga University, Bataan Peninsula State University, Central Philippine University (Iloilo), and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (Cagayan de Oro) participated in the workshop. Representatives from GIZ Philippines and the WWF Philippines were also in attendance.
