For Prosperity, Social Justice and Sustainable Economic Activity in Europe
Discussion
Details
Also, in the Treaty of Lisbon, the states of the European Union commit themselves to work towards a “competitive Social Market Economy”. These principles have to attain international validity. The panel discussion accompanying the EPP Congress in Bonn looks at the possibilities of internationally establishing basic elements of the Social
Market Economy: how can more supporters of this economic and social model be gained? Which initial aspects of this model can be identified in places outside Europe as well? The basic document “Guidelines for Prosperity, Social Justice and Sustainable Economic Activity”, which has been worked out by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and is borne by leading representatives of politics and science in the European Union, will now be presented to a broader public and discussed on the occasion of the congress.
We warmly invite you to attend the panel discussion.
