Issues such as global energy geopolitics, importance of renewable energy and nuclear power in India’s energy calculus and the scope of collaboration with Europe in the availability of relevant clean energy technologies will be discussed. The event`s particular emphasis will lie upon Indian –African collaboration on the energy front, covering India’s growing interest in the hydrocarbon energy sector in Africa, as well as potential for cooperation in the non-conventional energy sector for furthering sustainable development goals.
