In 2020, 293 municipalities that participated in the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting Platform reported their dangers and opportunities related to climate change. These municipalities correspond to approximately 147.5 million inhabitants, which represent 23% of the population of Latin America and the Caribbean. Of these, 57% answered that there is some kind of collaboration with the private sector, 16% answered that they have the intention and 11% that the collaboration is ongoing.
