Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the planning and organisation of international media conferences and other events

Supporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of our online communication activities

Making translations from German to English and vice versa

Conducting qualified research on media issues in South East Europe

Office tasks

You will work closely with colleagues of the KAS Media Program’s team in Sofia and report directly to the Head of the office. The working language is German.

Your profile:

Student or alumni in journalism, political science or other humanities

Experience in editorial work and/or professional online communications

A strong interest in politics and media in South East Europe

Very good knowledge of German and English language

Basic knowledge of a Slavic language and the Cyrillic alphabet is an advantage

You also impress with creativity, initiative,organizational skills, team spirit and competence in intercultural communication!
