Scientific research is today a major lever to accelerate economic development and provide effective solutions to the various challenges that Morocco is currently facing. Among these challenges, the consequences of climate change, which are manifested by several phenomena, including irregular rainfall, the sustainability of water resources and drought. To this end, several Moroccan research teams have focused on the development of innovative solutions to respond to the climate emergency, this dynamic has resulted in the production of different types of scientific productions that have enabled Morocco to currently occupy an important place among the scientific leaders in North Africa in the theme of climate change. Despite all the efforts made, the scientific results are not transformed into public policies and businesses capable of improving Morocco's performance in terms of climate change adaptation, green jobs and value production. To overcome these challenges, several solutions exist: Adapting scientific research to the context of each region, reducing taxes on companies cooperating with universities, creating university spin-offs, and improving university infrastructure.

This document presents an orientation inspired by the work we have done in the framework of a workshop-debate organized by the Regional Program Energy Security and Climate Change in the Middle East and North Africa of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS-REMENA) and the Ecole Supérieure de Technologie d'Agadir - Université Ibn Zohr, from March 29 to 31, 2022 in Agadir, in order to collect all the applicable solutions to ensure a bridge from the university to the enterprise and from the enterprise to the university. This event saw the participation of PhD students, teacher-researchers, policy makers, politicians, university businesses and administrators during which we tried to address the deficit and inability to transform innovative scientific results into public policies and businesses capable of improving Morocco's performance in climate change adaptation, green jobs and value production. In order to seek a remedy and participate in the resolution of this major problem that blocks the major role of our university.
