Führungswechsel bei Volkspartei

Auf ihrem 11. Parteitag hat die Lettische Volkspartei (Tautas Partija) den 38jährigen Innenminister Mareks Seglinš mit großer Mehrheit zum neuen Vorsitzenden gewählt. Der ehemalige Ministerpräsident und zuletzt amtierende Vorsitzende der Volkspartei, Aigars Kalvitis, hat nicht mehr kandidiert.
