The study of the Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) which was implemented in cooperation with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) assesses the impediments and restrictions on the competitive capacity of Palestinian industries both locally and on external markets. It also investigates the potential of alternative trade routes. The objective of the study is to identify shortcomings and to analyse different solution possibilities.
The study can be used as basis for bilateral negotiations. It includes statistics on export activities and provides a comprehensive outlook on the business community based on the current environment. The underlying independent survey has been conducted in June 2006.
