Am 1. und 15. Juni 2008 fanden in Rumänien die Kommunalwahlen statt, welche die Wahl der Gemeinderäte (Listenwahl) und Bürgermeister (Direktwahl mit absoluter Mehrheit) und der Kreisräte (Listenwahl) und Kreisratsvorsitzenden (erstmals Direktwahl mit relativer Mehrheit) umfasste.
