Ost Timor on the path to normality

After more than two years of instability and insecurity, one can experience a positive, forward-looking atmosphere in the capital city of Dili again. The times resembling civil war with refugee camps covering all free spots of the city and gang criminality seem - at least for now - have its end. For the first time since the start of agitations in May 2006, a visitor does not seem to confront a constant personal threat.
