Poland’s party system is at a critical juncture in early 2026. While the well-known polarization between the Civic Coalition (KO) and Law and Justice (PiS) continues to shape the political landscape, familiar structures are shifting beneath the surface. New political formations are gaining visibility, established parties are grappling with strategic and personnel challenges, must address an impending generational shift in leadership, and the question of viable majorities is increasingly taking center stage.
