Konservative sichern sich die Parlamentsmehrheit

Die konservative Grand National Party (GNP) ging aus den am 09. April landesweit durchgeführten Wahlen zur Nationalversammlung als klarer Sieger hervor. Das Wahlergebnis beendet die Hoffnungen der liberalen Kräfte auf eine Trendwende und ein Ende ihrer schwindenden Popularität.
