Carmen Leimann-López
Desk Officer Central America and Mexico
Carmen Leimann-López has been working as a Policy Advisor for Central America and Mexico at the headquarters of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin since January 2024. Prior to this, she completed a trainee programme at the foundation’s country office in Brazil (2022–2023) and worked as a project manager at the country office in Argentina (2016–2021). Ms Leimann-López holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from Universidad del CEMA and successfully completed a double Bachelor’s programme in International Culture and Business Studies at the University of Passau and Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires. She gained further practical experience as an intern at the German-Peruvian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Peru) in 2015.
