Clemens Huemerlehner

Clemens Huemerlehner has been supporting the Regional Office for South Baden as an officer since September 2024. He studied mainly History and Islamic Studies in Freiburg and Basel. During his studies, he gained international experience in North Africa and the United States. His doctoral research on the energy transition from coal to petroleum in Germany was funded by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. His additional areas of interest include transatlantic relations, the history of National Socialism, the GDR and the Federal Republic of Germany, antisemitism, and Islam.
