David Mbae
State Representative for Hamburg | Head of the Political Education Forum
David Mbae-Straßenburg has been the State Commissioner for Hamburg and Head of the Political Education Forum since September 2024. Before serving as Chief of Staff to the Federal Executive Director of the CDU of Germany from 2022 to 2024, he was, among other positions, Country Officer in the Sub-Saharan Africa Department from 2021 to 2022 and Head of the KAS office in Zimbabwe from 2016 to 2020. He studied Political Science and Public Law at the University of Trier, focusing on International Relations and European Integration.
