Dr Jochen Blind has been press spokesperson of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung since 2019 and heads the media centre, where the press office and online editorial team work together.

 

The political scientist with a doctorate, trained journalist and former scholarship holder of our Young Journalists Programme was employed in the press office of the CDU of Germany from 2010 to 2018, the last four years as spokesperson of the party and head of the press office. He then worked in the management area of the Federal Ministry of Defence before moving to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in June 2019.

 

He has also been a member of the jury of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung's German Local Journalist Award since 2020.
