Richard Ottinger
Fundamental questions of social cohesion
Richard Ottinger is responsible for “Fundamental Issues of Social Cohesion” at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation think tank after working for the foundation in the area of “International Religious Dialogue” from 2021 to 2024. He studied German language and literature, philosophy and Catholic theology in Osnabrück and Münster and held teaching positions there as well as in Vechta and Siegen. He completed his doctorate on a media ethics topic in Osnabrück. Prior to this, he worked as a research assistant at the Department of Catholic Moral Theology at Münster University and founded Auratikum GmbH in Berlin. He received funding from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Hasso Plattner Institute and IBB Business Team GmbH.
