Susanne Käss

Susanne Käss has served as Head of Human Resources, Central Services, and Events at the DLZ since June 2026. Prior to that, she was responsible for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s international office in Argentina, a position she held starting in August 2022. She began her career with the Foundation in 2007 as a trainee in Mexico. Ms. Käss then spent five and a half years leading the Bolivia Country Project and the Regional Program on Political Participation of Indigenous Peoples in Latin America (PPI). After three years as a country specialist in the Asia Department, she took over as Head of the International Human Resources Department in January 2018. Susanne Käss studied languages, economics, and cultural studies at the University of Passau, with a focus on Latin America.
