Ulrike Hospes, born in 1980, studied political science, history and public law at the universities of Oldenburg, Hanover and Bonn. After completing her doctorate on Karl Dietrich Bracher, she started working as an editor in the press documentation department of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sankt Augustin in 2008. A year later, she moved to the Contemporary History Department of the Historical Archive as a research assistant and took over the management of the newly established department in May 2010. The main topics are the internet portals History of the CDU, Konrad Adenauer and Helmut Kohl as well as the conception of new exhibitions and participation in publications and events on contemporary history topics. She has headed the Federal City of Bonn office since April 2016.
