Fifth Annual Conference of the Egyptian Ruling Party NDP

On the fifth annual conference (November 1-3, 2008), the main intention of the Egyptian governing party NDP was to polish up its tarnished image. Changes in form and content were not achieved. Instead, the NDP officials performed strong attacks on the opposition. A new country report analyses progression, background information, and reactions. (in German)
