The Rule of Law Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in cooperation with the Constitutional Court of Romania invites to a conference on the occasion of the presentation of the publication “Selection of decisions of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany“ in Romania, which will take place on Thursday, the 26th of September, in the Nicolae Iorga Hall of the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.

The event will start with opening remarks by Augustin Zegrean, President of the Constitutional Court of Romania, Thorsten Geissler, Director of the KAS RLPSEE, and Werner Hans Lauk, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Romania. The key-note speaker for the event is Wilhelm Schluckebier, judge of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany. Tudorel Toader and Iulia Motoc, both judges of the Constitutional Court of Romania, will also address the conference.

This publication has the aim of attracting the attention of the judges and academic staff of the Romanian Constitutional Court, but also of politicians and other legal practitioners, as well as constitutional law experts in the country. The collection of decisions opens a systematic approach to the jurisdiction of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany, which, due to its quality and consistency is highly valued and appreciated throughout the world.
