Anna Kim, born in 1983 in Omsk, studied Modern History and Slavic Studies at the University of Potsdam. After several years as a research assistant at the Institute for Contemporary History Munich–Berlin, she worked as a freelance translator and project associate, including for the Ernst Reuter Archive Foundation. From 2019 onward, she served as a Policy Advisor in the Department of Contemporary History. Her research focuses on Russian contemporary history, German-Russian relations, and politics of history. Since 2022, she has been working as a Policy Advisor in the Department of Media Analysis and Archive.
