Evelyn Gaiser has been a staff member abroad in Costa Rica since January 2020. Previously, she was a country officer in the Asia and Pacific team of the KAS, responsible for India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Central Asia and the thematic area of climate and energy in Asia. From 2011 to 2015, Ms Gaiser worked first as a project manager and then as a trainee at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's foreign office in Israel. Ms Gaiser studied Franco-Romance and Hispanic Studies at the Universities of Mannheim and Perpignan and International Relations at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona.
