Isabel Weininger

Isabel Weininger has served as a Policy Advisor in the Europe/North America Department, overseeing the KAS offices in Athens, Brussels, Madrid, Paris, and Rome since March 2026.Previously, she worked for the National Democratic Institute as Program Director for Youth and Women’s Empowerment in Ramallah in the Palestinian Territories. Ms. Weininger began her career with KAS in 2017 as a Program Assistant in Ukraine (2017–2019). From 2020 to 2023, she held various positions in the Asia/Pacific Department, including Desk Officer, Country Director in Cambodia, and Acting Head of Department. She then joined the Human Resources Department in 2023, where she was responsible for seconded staff abroad. She studied political science, international law, and international relations in Munich, Paris, and Dresden.
