Loretta von Plettenberg

Loretta von Plettenberg has been an Advisor for Social Policy in the Analysis and Consulting Division (Social Cohesion Department) since March 2026. Her areas of expertise include fundamental issues and debates in social policy. She has been with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation since 2020. From 2020 to 2023, she worked in the Political Education division as a Senior Advisor for Communication and Marketing and subsequently as a Senior Advisor for Western and Southern Europe. Prior to joining the KAS, she spent several years working in the field of political communication at a federal association and at a public affairs consultancy in Berlin. Loretta von Plettenberg holds a B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University and an M.Sc. in Public Policy and Management from the University of Glasgow.
