Moritz Sprenker
Head of the Nigeria Office
Moritz Sprenker has been heading the Nigeria Office since April 1, 2026. Prior to this, he worked as a specialist for digitalization and international capacity building in Berlin and completed a part-time MBA at the Berlin Professional School (HWR Berlin) from 2022 to 2024. He gained his first international experience with the Foundation in 2018 through the decentralization program in Kenya and from 2019 to 2021 as a trainee at the South Africa office. He studied European Studies at Maastricht University and Africa and International Development at the University of Edinburgh. He also participated in the doctoral program at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn.
