Nicolas Reeves

Policy Advisor, Middle East and North Africa Department

Nicolas Reeves began his role as Policy Advisor for Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran in the Middle East and North Africa Department in June 2026. Prior to this, he worked for the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s Amman-based Regional Programme Gulf States from 2023–2026, first as a Project Manager and then as a Research Fellow. Mr Reeves holds a dual master’s degree in international development and political science from Sciences Po Paris and Freie Universität Berlin. He completed his bachelor’s degree in international relations and economics at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. During his studies, he acquired advanced Arabic language skills and gained experience conducting field research through study and research stays at the University of Jordan (2017–2018), the American University in Cairo (2019–2020), and the American Center of Research (ACOR) in Amman (2022).
