Ronny Dirk Heine

Ronny Heine has been working for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation since 2001. He studied Political Science, Social and Economic Geography, and Adult Education at Chemnitz University of Technology.

Career within the Konrad Adenauer Foundation:

From September 2001 to January 2004, he served as an Educational Associate at the Educational Institute Leipzig. From February 2004 to December 2006, he worked as Coordinator for the “New Federal States” in the Domestic Policy Team of the Department of Politics and Consulting in Berlin. From January 2007 to December 2012, he headed the Educational Center Schloss Wendgräben. From January 2013 to April 2016, he was Head of the Foundation’s Country Office in Pakistan, based in Islamabad. From May 2016 to February 2018, he served as Head of the Executive Board Office, followed by his role as Team Leader for Domestic Policy in the Department of Politics and Consulting from March 2018 to July 2019. From August 2019 to June 2023, he was Head of the Regional Program Central Asia, based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Since July 2023, he has been serving as State Commissioner and Head of the Political Education Forum Saxony.
