From 1997 to 2002, she studied Political Science at the Hochschule für Politik in Munich. Following her studies, she worked as a research associate at the Institute for Eastern European Studies in Munich and completed her PhD at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Since 2004, she has been active in the field of political communication in Berlin. She developed various information platforms, including www.politnews.eu, the job portal politjobs.de, and the political monitoring service of Tagesspiegel under the umbrella of polisphere e.V. From 2014 to 2016, she served as Chief of Staff for Political Information Services at Tagesspiegel Publishing House.
