Finding Common Ground on European Security
To foster strategic dialogue between the capitals, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Royal United Services Institute convened a series of seminars entitled the ‘British-German Security Dialogue’. The seminars took place in Berlin and London, and brought together government officials, policy analysts, academics and industrialists. They discussed their visions for NATO’s role in Europe and identified areas to improve co-operation and mutual understanding. This paper presents the authors’ reflections on those discussions, preliminary results and impulses derived from the dialogue.
