TTIP: Transatlantische Handels- und Investitionspartnerschaft
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is interested in a fundamental debate about making international economic policy fit for the future in the sense of the regulatory principles underlying the social market economy. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung believes that the economic regulatory framework is of vital importance in a multi-polar world. It is also important that all trading partners comply with joint criteria in future so as to ensure fair market-based competition. Strengthening the Transatlantic Economic Partnership may play a role in enforcing high standards for products, employee rights and environmental protection vis-à-vis third states, too.
