Djamel Eddine Cherif, born 1979 in Oran - Algeria. In 2000, he moved to Germany, where he studied electronics and also obtained an advanced degree in German at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He has been the project coordinator of the KAS economic projects in Algiers since February 2023. From 2020-2022, he was the representative of Perlove Medical in Algeria. Before that, he worked as a project manager in the economic department of the German-Algerian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Algiers in 2015-2020. He was responsible for the conception and acquisition of projects to promote German-Algerian economic relations in cooperation with German institutions, associations and authorities.

His expertise focuses on project management, planning and monitoring as well as advising Algerian SMEs on adapting to international quality standards and supporting them in establishing business relations with German partners. Mr Cherif has many years of experience in technical and trade relations.
