Veronika Ertl is advisor for development policy in the Department 2030 Agenda at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. In this role, she works on questions concerning German and European development policy and sustainable development in terms of the 2030 Agenda. Prior to her current position, she worked as a research associate in the KAS regional programme “Political Dialogue South Mediterranean” based in Tunis, and in the GIZ programme “Cooperation with Arab Donors” in Amman. She studied political science and international public management at the Free University of Berlin, the University of California Los Angeles, and Sciences Po Paris.
