Parlamentswahlen in Südafrika – 10 Jahre Demokratie unter dem ANC

Auch nach der dritten Wahl in Südafrika nach dem Ende der Apartheid erreichte der ANC nach Auszählung von 99% der Stimmen eine absolute Mehrheit von 69,68 Prozent. Präsident Thabo Mbeki wird am 23. April 2004 vom Parlament in seinem Amt bestätigt werden und am 27. April 2004, dem Tag des zehnjährigen Jubiläums der neuen Demokratie, seine zweite und damit verfassungsgemäß letzte Amtszeit antreten.
