Fabian Wagener

Fabian Wagener has been Head of the Media Programme Asia of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, based in Singapore, since August 2025. He joined the KAS in 2020 and has worked in recent years as a multimedia officer in the Department of International Reports and Communications. Prior to that, he spent several years working as a journalist, including as editor-in-chief at the Mitteldeutsche Zeitung. He studied Arabic and Islamic Studies as well as Political Science in Göttingen and completed a daily newspaper traineeship after his studies.
