EU Regulation and the Establishment of a Compliance System in Ukraine
The policy paper by the Ukrainian Centre for European Policy is dedicated to the creation of a modern, transparent and EU-compliant system for confirming the sustainability of liquid biofuels, bio-components and biogas used in the transport sector in Ukraine. The publication analyses the requirements of RED II/RED III and EU Regulation 2022/996, identifies gaps in Ukrainian legislation and proposes a detailed model for a national system for verifying compliance with sustainability criteria
